Water levels at Kerr Lake are at a near record low! As a result, several boat ramps have been closed. For an updated list of closures, call the Army Corp of Engineers at 434-738-6101. If you do go out, exercise extreme caution as there are many new hazards all over the lake. Happy fishing and stay safe!
‘Tis the season everyone! And no, I’m not talking about the holidays. I’m talking about MONSTER blue catfish!!! With water temps dropping into the mid 50’s, larger fish are starting to stack up in their usual wintertime haunts, making them easier to target. Pictured left is a 30 pound blue, caught Dec. 4th on a piece of cutbait. Come out and see why it really is the most wonderful time of the year!
