A Santee rig is a rig used to drift fish for cats. It is similar to a Carolina rig, except that there is a float pegged to the leader, about 4 inches from the hook. This float lifts the hook and bait off of the bottom, preventing snags and making it easier for catfish to see. I will be posting a video in the near future, showing you step by step instructions to tying a Santee rig!
