December Report

I apologize for the lack of updates to the site recently! I’ve had several things going on the last couple of months and just haven’t had time to stay on top of the site. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been fishing! Winter is probably my favorite time of year to fish, and without a doubt it is the best time of year to catch a big blue. Water temps are now in the 40’s, and the bait and the cats have transitioned to their usual places. The last couple of trips out I have put up some good numbers of fish, usually bagging atleast one 20-40 pound fish a trip. We’re even still catching some flatheads on the upper end, which is a bit unusual for this time of year…but the weather has been relatively mild thus far. Here are a few pictures from my last couple of trips out. Enjoy and come fishing with me!
